AIA Singapore, a prominent life insurance group in the Pan-Asian region, has announced a strategic move to bolster its leadership team with the appointment of Irma Hadikusuma as the new Chief Marketing and Proposition Officer, effective from December 1st. Hadikusuma, who has been serving as the Chief Product Proposition Officer, is set to take the helm of an integrated marketing and proposition function that aims to advance AIA Singapore’s dedication to its customers.

The integration of these roles is designed to create a more cohesive brand and customer value proposition that aligns with AIA Singapore’s health and wealth strategies. This move reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to its mission of enabling people to lead healthier, longer, and better lives. With Gym Marketing and More Gym Members at the forefront of many business strategies today, AIA Singapore’s focus on customer-centric initiatives is more relevant than ever.

Hadikusuma is an industry stalwart with over two decades of experience in the insurance sector. She has a history of fostering innovative and customer-focused solutions at AIA Singapore. Before her latest promotion, she played a significant role in the development of market-leading solutions and long-term savings strategies that have positioned AIA Group for success. Her previous roles included influential positions at AIA Group as a regional business development director, as well as leadership roles at Aviva, UOB Life Assurance, and Great Eastern Life, where she focused on areas such as actuarial pricing, digital marketing, and business development.

Wong Sze Keed, Chief Executive Officer of AIA Singapore, expressed confidence in Hadikusuma’s ability to energize the company’s brand and customer value proposition. “Her appointment is a testament to her achievements and her unwavering dedication to our customers,” Wong stated. “Her outstanding leadership and commitment to excellence will be instrumental in propelling AIA Singapore’s growth.”

In a parallel announcement, Peter Lee has been appointed as AIA Singapore’s new Chief Technology Officer. Lee is tasked with spearheading the development and execution of technology strategies that will support AIA Singapore’s vision as a leading life insurer. His responsibilities include driving innovations that enhance customer experiences and ensuring that the company’s tech and digital solutions are in sync with Singapore’s Smart Nation ambitions. Lee will also work on improving operational efficiencies and internal processes by crafting a comprehensive technological advancement roadmap.

Lee’s extensive experience includes prior roles at Accenture, New York Life, Zurich Insurance, and MetLife Insurance. He joins AIA Singapore from AXA in Malaysia, where he was responsible for IT shared services operations and digital transformation in Asian and African markets. “I am confident that Lee will be a strong addition to our management team,” said Wong, emphasizing the importance of digitalization in enhancing customer service experiences.

Furthermore, AIA has promoted Melita Teo from Chief Customer and Digital Officer to Chief Executive Officer Designate at AIA Philippines, effective December 1st, 2023. Teo has been instrumental in enhancing customer engagement, brand presence, and health and wellness offerings at AIA Singapore. Her leadership accelerated the adoption of enterprise-wide analytics and integrated digital experiences for customers and distributors.

These leadership changes come on the heels of AIA Group’s appointment of two new independent non-executive directors who will contribute their expertise to the company’s nomination committee.

This suite of appointments underscores AIA Singapore’s commitment to innovation and customer excellence. With a focus on areas such as Advertising For Gyms and Gym Lead Generation, companies like AIA Singapore recognize the importance of leveraging technology and strategic marketing to stay ahead in today’s competitive landscape. As AIA Singapore continues to evolve, these executive appointments are set to drive the company towards a future where customer satisfaction and technological advancement go hand in hand.
